Built my bed on a funeral pyre
Stoke it up so the flames get higher
The drills are pounding sound from ground
Songs from the baying crowd are loud
Feel the floor begin to quake
The earth itself seems to shake
The water is poisoned, the soil is dry
We are all condemned to die
This barren land of today is doomed
It's been calcified and stone entombed
Blindness and greed, and inhuman deeds;
Snatching the food from the mouths they should feed
Mechanical beasts beneath our feet
Crawl in darkness to join the feast
Pigs above and beasts below
Gather round to see the show
Feel the floor begin to shake
The earth it ruptures with a quake
We have been poisoned but left alive
We are all condemned to die

This a superb slice of "skronky" jazzy prog that recalls the likes of early King Crimson, Gong and Soft Machine amongst others, But it's all delivered with an energy that feels fresh and new. Great album! egg-magoo
A very pleasant album. Like other comments said, if you like the first Camel album (Moonmadness for exemple), you have to listen at this one. calm, relaxing are the first words that come to me
You can listen from the start to the end: it’s like a journey…. in the space! yodablanc
